Skipper's log: Miranda Merron, skipper, Campagne de France (IMOCA)

We spent much of the day and the first part of the night going nowhere fast
courtesy of a windless stalled front. Mostly fog and/or drizzle, no wind
but boat slamming gently in waves generated by the low(s) to the west. It
seems that we have at last been allowed to escape into the inky black
night.
