Skipper's log: Simon Koster (Swiss), skipper, Banque du Léman (Class40)

24 hours without any DIY! It's cool to be able to get the boat moving forward. The conditions are good, but with a not very stable wind with sudden gusts. Little-by-little we are discovering the best settings; it's really interesting to have time to focus of that, and it’s a change from the Mini (Transat) to have a computer with polars on board so you can see the most effective settings! We'll see if we manage to grab a few miles on our friends. Otherwise, it's good doses of food and naps.
