Message from Colombre XL (Class40)

Another nice day of sailing in tropics, with distances from the leading group closing up Lion d’O the boat behind closing on us. Like in slow motion we are all coming sooner or later to a dead alt in the Pot au noir. But for  the time being we are still moving and using our time to decide the strategy for entering and crossing the Pot au Noir. Not easy. The information that in the hands of the Meteo coach seemed so clear before the start now are  really confusing and far than conclusive. Scatometry grib satellite photos they all provide their on piece of information but putting it together is not easy. We have some ideas though … toward the west.. 70 miles sideways ffrom  the leaders and possibly in front of the boat behind. We’ll see.
