We always kept both options open, and we’re still looking at all the options because it’s really, really tricky. What we don’t want to do is be too influenced by what the rest of the fleet is doing. We just want to sail what we think is the best route, knowing that it’s a very difficult choice to make. 

You can see it (on the tracker), we’re really happy with the speeds we were doing yesterday and it’s not scary at all either. I’m really happy and the boat feels great. Right now, we’re trying to wriggle our way south as best we can and we’re spending a lot of time looking at the weather and routing to make sure that we take the right route for us. It’s upwind for now and a little bit of zig-zagging through the weather fronts coming towards us.
