It’s was a calm night, it felt like a long one, it slides by more slowly with less manoeuvres -  and we’re less soaked. It's still complicated, you still have to trim constantly when you haven’t yet emerged from Cape Verde wind shadow. The wind went left a long way. I hope that we won’t have to readjust our trajectory for the Doldrums. The trade wind moves around quite a bit, which makes for a lot of work trimming or at the helm.

There will be no decisive difference at the entrance to the Doldrums. We hope to keep the pace up, but it's always a complicated passage, when you exit in the lead you have a chance to win the race, but it's impossible to say now.

We’re at 100% of the potential of the boat, we haven’t opened the toolbox since we started and we’re happy with the work done by the team. It's been hot for a long time already, Charalis a well-protected boat, so it's hot under the cockpit roof and below, it's hard to sleep.

There’s not been much sun since we started, except yesterday. Now we can see the stars, we had a little bit of moon early in the night, but it's black now, black as the boat!
