ITCZ focused on the 6 north.

Anticyclone at 28 south and 6 west, stationary, extends with a ridge of high pressure towards Bahia.

Multi50: It can start to fly again

The trade wind from south is moving east, that’s a better angle so it (the last Multi50 out there) can accelerate a little. It's slamming a lot too!

IMOCA: Not easy

While the top trio are slowly but surely accelerating – in a new wind - some are beginning to reconnect with the wind, albeit not very sympathetic southerlies, and others are still struggling in light airs.

Class 40:  Slow-motion gliding

Progress south is rather slow in the weak trade wind, and it is very complex ahead of this zone of weak and variable wind, which is persisting.
