Skipper’s log: Alan Roura (Switzerland), La Fabrique (IMOCA)

We’re not very happy with our positioning or our speed, but the race is far from over. The chase begins now; we’re not letting go. Life on board is a bit squeezed...That’s how it is, because when your house is at (an angle of) 20°  a sailor has to nap on their big cushion, wedged against the engine block. Everything is a little complicated on board, you have to stand up when you’re writing, eating and washing. But it could be worse and we’re happy to be at sea and heading south!
