Skipper's log: Massimo Juris, skipper, Colombre XL (Class40)

Finally a day as you could dream of in the trade winds. It was sunny warm (but not hot thanks to our new electric fan) and the wind blowing a cooperative 15 to 17 knts steadily from the same direction. I finally managed to take a shower which was welcomed by the entire crew. We also finally packed away the winter clothing that was hanging around the boat for no reason for several days. We filmed two short videos that hopefully we will be able to mount today. Finally a top treat the "Astronaut Ice Cream" a last minute gift from our Guardian Angels and shore team: Adelie Parat and Mederic Thiout. It is indeed a biscuit ice cream, but Flash Dry Frozen. So it is light, it lasts and it really tastes like ice cream when in your mouth.So let’s call it a day of housekeeping, personal care and treats. But the eye is always there on the speedo.
